| Policy on Friending This Journal |

Due to the continued troubles on LiveJournal and my unwillingness to leave unless forced to, I'm enacting the following policies for this writing journal.
1) Other journals will only be friended back if I have been assured tha tthe owner of that journal is eighteen or older. I'm obviously not going to demand a copy of your birth certificate, but I am going to take your word that you are telling me the truth. If I find any reason to believe that you are not of age, I will unfriend you and block you in the future.
2) All stories containing sexually explicit content rated R, NC-17, M, or any other equivalent will be friends-locked. No one under the age of eighteen who has not friended this journal will be able to view them. In addition, no stories featuring persons under the age of eighteen will be postedor linked to on this journal. Each story featuring explicit content will also carry a disclaimer reassuring readers that any and all participants are of legal age.
3) All stories featuring gay or lesbian relations regardless of rating will be friends-locked. No one who has not friended this journal will be able to view these, so if you do not approve of this content, do not friend this journal. There are stories featuring gay and lesbian characters that do not contain explicit content, and they will carry no eighteen and above disclaimer because there are in fact gay teenagers in existance.
4) Stories featuring humor relating to homosexuality or the like will not be locked. If it can be used frequently in every bad teen comedy since the 1970s, I see no reason why I need to shield people from it.
5) Stories carrying an R rating that do not have sexually explicit content will also not be locked unless LiveJournal Terms and Services requests that this be done.
I have friended back all parties who had their birthday including the year listed on their profile or those who I know well enough to be sure that they are the correct age. If your name is not on the Mutual Friends list in my profile, I have no assurance that you are of the correct age. I'm sorry, but I can't take any chances here, so if you could please comment here with the year of your birth just so I can say I checked, that would be fabulous. All comments will be screened but saved for future reference.

Summary: Once, Sirius Black decided to play a very nasty prank on Severus Snape. He told the Slytherin to go down to the Whomping Willow, poke a particular knot, and follow the tunnel where he would undoubtedly find a big surprise. When James Potter heard, he knew exactly how wrong this could go, so he raced down to the Shrieking Shack and saved Snape just before he would have come face-to-face with a feral, merciless, blood-thirsty werewolf. What would have happened if James hadn't made it in time?
Notes: This is technically my first big step back into the Harry Potter fandom since the conclusion of All Kidding Aside. That story was one of the hardest for me to get through for a lot of reasons I won't go into now, but one of them was that I wasn't writing to the best of my abilities. I sacrificed a lot for comedy, I presented the Marauders as being a bit two-dimensional, and I fell a bit into the nobody-likes-Peter hole. I'm dissapointed with how that story turned out, and while I was certain that AKA was going to be my swan song to the Harry Potter fandom, this and at least one other story are telling me that I'm not done yet.
I hope this story is something that I can be truly proud of years down the road, and I hope that it's one that people will be able to enjoy. ^_^ Thanks very much to J.K. Rowling for creating such a fantastic series, to dejanafor creating .moon, and to scarlet_malfoyfor agreeing to beta-read this project, which I'm sure will be massive as my chaptered fics tend to be.
